With the XBox One, Microsoft will be allowing developers to use their XBox Live Cloud for computing tasks, similar to a server farm, or to use it as a dedicated server for their games. Infinity Ward was the first developer to jump on this opportunity for Call of Duty Ghosts. They are ditching the current P2P server system that all multiplayer games use currently which is the biggest complaint from gamers who play the game. The 360 and PS3 will not see this move and will continue with the P2P system on consoles. Here is the Tweet from Infinity Ward on the subject.
