PS4 Release Date Announcement?

I’m sure many of our GIGA Geeks are privy to the news of the prospective Viacom/Sony deal which ”It looks like Sony could be primed to lead the charge into the future of television as the publisher announces a deal with Viacom to provide streaming television programming through various devices (like the PlayStation 4) by the end of the year or sometime in early 2014.”  Well, just today it was announced that highly anticipated news about the official date of release for the sexy PlayStation 4.
Of course even this is still subject to disambiguation.  News spread faster than crack and AIDS in the 80’s after being released on the official PlayStation blog.  Its official my people, August 20th, we’ll have a release date for all you “line campers” and “tent-bringers” to prepare for.
